General FAQ

HOW DOES GO LIST IT WORK? 

  • Go list it is a peer to peer rental company that seeks to help you rent and lend items to those in your community. None of the items you rent are owned by us. They are owned and lent out by the beautiful people in your community. When you lend out your items to others you can turn your seldom used items into cash.

HOW DOES LENDING WORK? 

    • Lending is simple! Head over to our “List It” page and begin turning your items into spending money.   

  • When listing you will upload some pictures and details about the items, set the price, and begin the listing!

HOW DOES BORROWING WORK? 

    • Get started by browsing the items that interest you. Once you have found something you like book it and begin selecting your dates and following the steps to checking out and getting your rentals.   

WHAT KIND OF ITEMS CAN I LEND AND BORROW? 

  • Almost anything you can think of! Everything on our site is covered by our guarantee. If we cannot guarantee it we will not be able to allow it.   

WHAT CAN GO LIST IT COVER? 

    • Almost everything, with some exceptions of course. We cannot cover anything considered highly dangerous, (guns, chainsaws, chemicals), vehicles, properties, pets, or your cousin’s best friends’ brother. If it is illegal it is obviously not list worthy. So, if your item is not one of the items listed above go ahead and list it under our guarantee.  Visit the Guarantee Page

Account FAQ

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

      • Super easy! Just go to the home page and click sign up. Once you get signed up you can begin joining us in the journey to buy less and rent more. Sharing is caring!

HOW DO I CHANGE MY EMAIL OR PASSWORD?

If you signed up with your email only, request this change through the Live Chat Function.  If you’d like your phone number changed, follow the same route.  You can also make the change inside your user dashboard as needed.

If you are signed up with Google or Facebook, your email address comes from those accounts.  We are unable to change these directly.

IS IT SAFE TO SUBMIT MY ID TO GO LIST IT?

    • To ensure we keep Go List It a safe place to lend and borrow, we ask users to submit some personal information. Giving us this information is an act of trust that we take very seriously.

The information you give us is transmitted using SSL, the secure encryption which websites use to transmit credit card numbers.

THE HANDOVER

    • We have grand plans to integrate a delivery service into the platform but currently, handover is to be arranged between you and the borrower.
